Scholarship Program for Palm Springs High School (2026-2027)
The Palm Springs Woman's Club's mission is intellectual improvement, social enjoyment, and helpfulness in the community. We began providing college scholarships in 1939 when Pearl McManus told our president, "All right, you select one boy and send him to college through the Club, and I will take the other one and send him to college myself." Since then, we have provided scholarships annually to graduating seniors at Palm Springs High School. Since 2009, we have provided over $400,000 in college scholarships. We are one of the few programs that support our scholarship recipients for all four years of their education. We send funds to their colleges each semester, including verification of enrollment and full course schedules, and we require a minimum 3.0 GPA.
